Lace dress diy

Hey yall this is the last tutorial I told yall I would give yall one and im not going to let yall down. So here we go, this dress was originally a lace curtain, I cut off the hemmed part because it was stained.

Then I folded it in half from top to bottom and then in half from side to side.

I drew and cut a very small piece out of the corner that had folds on both sides

I opened it up and put safety pins to hold the top fold because the lace was hard to work with. And then took my measuring tape wrapped it around my chest half way and thats how I got the body measurement.

I chose a zigzag stitch and it ended up giving it a lettuce edge which was fine with me

I pinned the bottom hems about 6 pins and then continued doing that while sewing because the pins did not want to say in the open lace

 All done and cocky :)

Birthday outfit Black body slip, lace butterfly dress, and Krylon glitter blast shoes, That unfortunately did not hold up again.

    1. Thank you. I have a few more laying around too I'm pretty sure they will end up being some kind of dress or skirt. Just fair warning they do not hold pins very well so that's why I used safety pins.
