Pinterest Tryout: No Sew Pillow Case

Hey yall, since i'm still sick I have been doing some stuff slowly, but lucky me I had plenty left over fabric from the nursing cover tutorial. So a Pinterest try out was on brewing. I remembered seeing a tutorial for a simple no sew pillow cover. So I grabbed a random pillow that had some stains on it and went to folding.

Pinterest tryout Book Page Table Runner

Today is another Pinterest try out, the book page table runner. So I got to making the book page table runner and I chose the smallest book which was “To kill a mockingbird”, which I have never read. Well as I was assembling my table runner my husband said “what book is that” I told him what it was and he said “that book is everything we stand against”, I said ok and kept going along and he kept writing on his book. Pinterest Fact or Fiction

In a recent post I said that one of the set of series post was going to be about Pinterest. Well I have decided to call it “Pinterest: Fact or Fiction”. So far that I’m  aware of there isn’t anything called that, so hopefully I’m not stepping on any toes, I do know that there is a series of posts called “Pinterest Fail” this is not the same thing. I know that a lot of you have seen stuff on Pinterest that just seemed too good to be true. Case in point the “Glowing Mountain Dew”, we all now know that it is a hoax and that they put some kind of glow stick in the bottle. But there are many others out there that have not been tested. These posts are about the method and result, are the results achievable with the stated method and if not how do you get that result. (Disclaimer I am not bashing or stealing credit in any way I just want to give the public proper information and my opinion)

So with out further a due I give you “Pinterest fact or fiction # 1 Ziplock baggie manicure paint”.  I found this picture on pinterest and then found the tutorial on http://ohsoprettythediaries.com these ladies have some serious style and great info, I hope this works because I agree with them, its just too damn hard to paint a design on your non-dominant hand.

Whats going on

Hey y'all, its Sunday and man is it hot. Today I just wanted to let y'all know whats going to be going on in this blog. I've decided that I want to make a few series of posts. When im blog surfing some of the things I enjoy most is the sets of series that I see on other blogs, it makes me eager to see that next post, sometimes it makes me feel like a kid who celebrates Hanukkah. So since that's one of my favorite things im going to pass that joy on to you.
